“Top secret” KTM leaked.

A brochure was leaked from Mattighofen in Austria yesterday. And it’s creating a world wide biking stir. Check it out yourself.

So there it is then. The brand new, long awaited, Adventure of the orange company will be out roosting one of these days. This will rock the already strong 1200 Adventure even more. Powered by the RC8 superbike’s 1195cc LC8 v-twin motor, the 1190 Adventure will certainly be no snail in the mountain passes. According to the leaked brochure there will be 111kW in the palm of your right hand.

With it’s tank (apparently 24 litres) filled the bike will weight in at 235kg. Extra features include ABS, traction control, and even a slipper clutch. About the suspension nothing have to be said. That’s KTM’s specialty. But we will have to see whether it will be electronically adjustable or not. Note that the bike looks chain driven on the brochure pic.

It seems that the KTM will “officially” be unveiled at INTERMOT in a few weeks’ time.
