This month’s winners

We received two fantastic routes in November and that’s why both contributors each receive a copy of  Greg Beadle’s book – BIKE The longer road.

Michael Hammond and his KLR 650 rode through deep water to get to Sutherland from Cape Town. And then he crossed a very hot Tankwa Karoo to get back. His route and adventure, which he shared on Bike Routes, even made it onto Kawasaki South Africa’s webpage.

Gideon Rossouw and his friends completed a 12-day trip from Pretoria through the Groot and Klein Karoo and back. Lovely back roads that make you want to saddle up and go.
